Reporting Ethical Misconduct:

Reporting Ethical Misconduct is the law and is everyone's duty at Faith Christian Academy to uphold it.  We the Staff at FCA take the trust that parents have given us to educate their students very seriously.  It is our responsibility to ensure student safety and welfare each and every day.

Florida Statute 39.203 and 768.095 protect all who report ethical misconduct from reprisal by the individual being reported on and the employer if the report was made in good faith without malicious intent.  Faith Christian Academy requires all staff members and volunteers  to report any and all issues that affect the welfare, safety and health of a student, staff member, or volunteer at Faith Christian Academy.

To report an incident:

If a situation is believed to potentially harm a student, staff member, or volunteer, the incident must be reported to the reporting persons immediate supervisor, principal, or President of Faith Christian Academy.  All personnel who knowingly fail to report any incident will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including immediate dismissal.

In case of suspected Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse or Neglect the staff member or volunteer will call 1-800-96-abuse immediately.

All employees and volunteers at Faith Christian Academy are required to complete an  Ethical Training program annually, prior to the beginning of the school year.
